Our vision is to create the world’s most important virtual event on next-generation networks.
Since its launch Gigabit Access has developed in reaction to the latest access technology trends. Evolving from 2014 where the main focus was extending the life of copper networks to 2021 where we’re exploring how access technologies from GPON, to G.Fast, to DOCSIS, to fixed-wireless can work together to deliver gigabit capable networks.
New for 2021, we will be exploring the role that next-generation access technologies including NG-PON2, XGS-PON, DOCSIS 3.1 and 4.0, and 5G are playing in network development. Similarly, we’ll take a look at how emerging virtualisation technologies are revolutionising network management and the impact that this is having on network strategy.
The virtual event will be an opportunity to hear from the leading minds in access network deployment and to learn from and share ideas with your industry peers. Whilst being a technology-led conference, the event will also explore the business of networks and network delivery.
Key topics for 2021 include:
Meet and connect with those transforming their industries with new ideas and new ways of thinking. You will get full access to the attendee list and be able to book virtual meetings with interesting people live on our platform.
Establish connections with telecom giants and leaders-of-industry, all exploring the role that next-generation access technologies are playing in network development. Meet virtually, swap contact information and extend your network.
Featuring more than 40 hours of curated content from over 40 innovators and disruptors in the telecoms sector and beyond: Gigabit Access brings together the latest in access technology and explores how new technologies are revolutionising network management, all in one easy-to-use platform.
