Tongxin Micro


Being a key player of automotive electronics and smart chip in Tsinghua Group, Tongxin Micro was founded in 2001 by the R&D team responsible for the national second-generation ID card chip at the Institute of Microelectronics of Tsinghua University. Tongxin has been actively involved in a number of significant national industrial projects, such as the 2nd-generation ID chip, the e-ticket system for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, dual-interface financial chips with high capacity and security, and automotive-grade MCUs. Specializing in security chips and automotive electronics, the Company has delivered over 23 billion shipments, providing products and services to more than 20 countries and regions across Asia, Europe, America, and Africa.
